Uncinia
Allure Tuinplanten breeds two kinds of Uncinia, the Uncinia Everflame and the Uncinia Rubra. Uncinia has the growing qualities of a Carex. These species stay dense and relatively low, which makes them perfectly suited for smaller gardens or as potted plants. Rubra has a reddish brown colour and the Everflame is a beautiful and colourful subspecies of Uncinia Rubra. The cherry red leaves make for an attractive appearance in every garden. These types of ornamental grasses are not perennial, which makes it necessary to cover them up during the winter.
Uncinia Rubra Everflame is protected in Europe under the number EU 29286.
