Pennisetum
Pennisetum is a type of ornamental grass that is known for its characteristic panicles that it bears from late summer until the end of autumn. The colour of the panicles and leaves can differ greatly, depending on the species. With an average height of 60 to 80 cm this plant is also perfectly suited for smaller gardens or as a potted plant. Pennisetum feels best at home in a sunny environment and its beauty can be fully appreciated in a large volume. These types wither and die above ground during the winter. In the early spring, you can prune these plants at a height of 10 cm above the ground.
